Our first meeting was yesterday after school. Looks like we have about 12 students interested and committed to science fair this year. There are a few more who may join us in the next week or so. Mrs. B went over info about what we will be doing at our meetings, the science fair handbook (everything you need to know about doing a science fair project) and some dates for spring. We also talked about this blog, links for science fair and safety issues. Also we would like t-shirts for our club.
Our next meeting we will be reviewing the steps of the scientific method, handing out handbooks, looking at possible projects, and ordering posters so we have them ready to go for November and December.
Our next meeting will be October 9th after school. See you there!
